Due to its central location, 4 National Circuit has been designed as the precinct’s hub. A landscaped pedestrian plaza between National Circuit and Macquarie Street draws people through the site, past the busy cafe and into the lobby of 4 National Circuit.
The 4 National Circuit development and precinct is a thriving and interactive space with attractive and well-used outdoor areas and an office environment that meets the needs of the tenants and the neighbouring departments.
Landscaped pedestrian walkways designed throughout the precinct encourage a connection between the buildings and the Government Departments. Tenants can walk from the Prime Minister and Cabinet offices in National Circuit through to the Australian Federal Police in Macquarie Street.
The walkways are a reflection on Australian history with many buildings named after previous famous leaders such as Andrew Fisher (1 National Circuit), who was Prime Minister at Federation, Edmond Barton (Australia’s first Prime Minister), Robert Garran (Attorney-General) and the Robert Marsden Hope Building to name a few.
